Taylor and Denise have been friends for over 20 years and there friendship started as sales representatives working with independent retailers in the Rocky Mountains. Over the years they admired each others creativity and work ethic. As an outlet to become more creative, and there love of trucker hats they built their own brand. In 2018 they created Arnie (a shortened version of Denise's last name) and Ollie (Taylor's shortened version of her last name).

It takes more than talent and practice to build something good. Her whole life, she had a desire to "create". She taught myself to cut, sew, and construct clothing in 2014 when Babysprouts first began. She had bought my first $200 home sewing machine (which didn't last) but helped pave the way. She had the opportunity to turn my creativity and passion into a business not long after that. From there we started to grow relationships with our retailers and steadily grew each year.

Jessica Riccio credits her grandparents for nurturing her creative side. “They had artistic hobbies outside of their 9-to-5 jobs,” she explains. “They took the time to teach me about their crafts and encouraged me to live creatively.” For more than five years, the Miami mom of two has been living—and working—creatively, turning her embroidery pastime into a business that she finds exceptionally fulfilling. “Nothing brings a bigger smile to my face than creating a special piece for someone,” she says.
Each piece is made to order and are locally hand embroidered in South Florida.
